Shakeel Gojri is the Co-founder and Co-owner of Kashmir Alps. Shakeel is been in the tourist industry for almost 2 decades. Started working as a mountain guide and tour-leader, traveling extensively in most of India, Nepal and Central Asia.
In 2011 established Kashmir Alps, in his native Kashmir Valley, with his Friend Sheikh Ali. Since the beginning he’s been actively designing itineraries, specially those related with mountain activities in remote areas, and coordinating the logistical operations based on a solid background gain during many years on the field.
Shakeel works in marketing promoting the company, establishing new relations with potential customers, attending the international tourist fairs and events and constantly developing new products and exploring interesting new destinations for a constantly changing market.
He is also manager for the mountain logistics where safety, proper acclimatization and collaboration with the local communities is the core aspect.
He speaks fluent Kashmiri, English, Urdu and Hindi.
Sheikh Ali

Sheikh Ali is the Co-founder and CEO at Kashmir Alps.
Ali has been in the tourism industry almost his entire adult life and has a great understanding of the business due to a wide experiences ranging from organizing tailor-made tours in Ladakh, Airbnb Rental and, since 2011, the CEO at Kashmir Alps.
Ali is also native to the Valley of Kashmir. After traveling most of the Asia and gathering first hand experience, he established Kashmir Alps together with his longtime friend Shakeel Gojri.
Ali is the daily administrative leader, as well as the CEO at the company. He has focused on developing most of the nature and culture destinations in Kashmir, Ladakh and Jammu. In recent years, he has introduces more sustainable practices in Kashmir Alps and is very passionate about sustainability in the tourism industry and climate-friendly traveling.
His passions are many and include: nature, wildlife, hiking, playing tennis, music and traveling and experiencing the Latin World.
Ali speaks fluent English and Kashmiri.
